Cincinnati Steel
Treating Company (CST) was founded by The Cincinnati Gear Company
in 1941 to ensure quality and improve delivery of their products.
In 1950 CST had grown and diversified significantly and expanded into
its own facilities at 5701 Mariemont Avenue. Servicing the diversified
heat-treating needs of the Tri-state area manufacturing business's
CST expanded their facilities in 1964, 1968 and 1995. In 2002 CST
purchased 100% of the technical assets, select machinery assets and
hired select employees of The Cincinnati Gear Company creating their
Gearing Systems Manufacturing Division CST-Cincinnati (CST-C) located
next door at the established 5757 Mariemont Avenue facility.
CST-Cincinnati continues the 95 plus years of technical expertise
designing and manufacturing high power density gearing and gear systems.
CST-Cincinnati's products and services support markets that include
high volume automotive gearing, precision component gearing, and industrial
/ marine enclosed drive systems. International after-market support
of CST-C's products and of other manufacturer's products is provided.
On site product support is provided with 24-hour domestic and 48-hour
international response. Rebuild services of any manufacturers gearboxes
are provided in house or on site. CST-Cincinnati is QS 9000 certified,
maintains MIL Q 9858 / MIL I 45208 'A' for U.S. military and meets
'customer selected' classification society requirements. CST-Cincinnati
is your full service gear manufacturer.
